Just stumbled upon an article this morning stating that InBev and MillerCoors will be raising their prices as the demand for beer is slumping. Apparently, this adjustment is performed every year to reflect the current market prices on raw materials. I was under the impression, there was a sentiment of deflation in the economy. Go figure. The article brings up an interesting point about the collusion between the two major beer producers, which, according to New York Times, have 80% market share.
As far as I know, no word any price jumps on a six pack of PBR. In good shape thus far. Also, been walking around neighborhood looking for a store that sells PBR.
Little bit less than one week left until I begin the journey into the unknown.
